My name is Devon Carpenter Haupt and I am a professional harpist and musician based in South Bend, Indiana. Although most of my performances take place in Northern & Northwest Indiana, Southwest Michigan, and the Chicago area, I am available for events throughout the states of Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa, Ohio, and Kentucky. With my harps, I can provide elegant music for your wedding ceremony, wedding reception, rehearsal dinner, holiday party, open house, or any other event.

The music and musicians you select set the tone for your celebration and will be remembered long after the ceremony or party is over.  You and your guests will have pleasant memories of the glamorous ambiance and beautiful music of the harp.  Whether you are planning an intimate outdoor wedding ceremony for your closed friends and family in your own garden or a formal gala wedding or corporate reception in a downtown Chicago hotel, the music of the harp is customized for your event.  Please see my events page for more information on my rates and on booking me for your event.

I play a variety of music, including classical selections, jazz and popular songs, sacred pieces, and folk tunes. Sound clips are also located here.  This page also notes which music is appropriate for a traditional wedding ceremony and which songs can be performed on the smaller and more portable lever (Celtic) harp.

Before booking your musicians, you should see them perform in person if at all possible.  If you are interested in seeing me perform, there is a calendar of upcoming events (some public, some private) on the performances page.  If your schedule or distance do not permit hearing my harp music live, you can also hear audio samples of my playing on my repertoire page.

I also offer harp and piano lessons for students from ages 4 or 5 to adults. Voice lessons are available for students ages 8 to adult.
