Stroudsmoor’s five event facilities are complete with dedicated ceremony chapel, chef and execution staff, cocktail area, guest amenities, and bridal lounge. Each location features unique elements addressing the style requirements of the sophisticated bride.
Woodsgate is the most historic of Stroudsmoor's buildings over 200 years old; it creates a unique setting for a traditional old-world celebration accommodating groups of 75 to 150 guests. The ceremony, held in the Woodland Chapel, gives guests the opportunity to enjoy the rich beauty of the Pocono Landscape. Victorian iron gates give way to an evergreen garden, a perfect complement for the pub-like lower level of Woodsgate where guests enjoy the cocktail hour. Woodsgate’s dining room is surrounded by oak beams, wainscoted walls and a forest of trees visible through its many windows – making it the perfect setting for a wedding in the country.
Lawnhaven, a unique outdoor option, creates an open-air forum without the concerns of weather. Immense stone columns support a 16' cedar-lined roof; pewter chandeliers highlight a patterned slate floor; fieldstone hearth warms the soul and walls of glass protect from the elements without hindering the view. The Grand Lawn and an exquisitely appointed garden featuring waterfalls, cocktail pavilion and ceremony gazebo complete the Lawnhaven experience. Groups of 75 to 150 guests are graciously accommodated for grand receptions on the Lawn.
Ridgecrest is one of the largest of Stroudsmoor's private event facilities, gracefully hosting 175 to 250 guests. A forty-foot stone bar, hearth and grand piano are featured in its cocktail lounge. The window-wrapped dining room affords guests panoramic views of the mountains and the valley below and coach lights line the terrace for watching the sunset over the mountains. Crestview Chapel flanks the building and offers a most breathtaking prospective for the wedding ceremony.
The most intimate of the inn’s event facilities is Auradell – offering guest accommodations with canopy beds and living areas; a solarium, hearthside suite and The Gallery at Stroudsmoor hosting groups of 30 to 60 guests. The ground level, once the manor’s ballroom, houses The Stroudsmoor Bridal Registry and Floral Studio. Additionally, an enchanting ceremony site called The Grotto affords a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and the city lights below.
Stroudsmoor is proud to announce the newest addition to its premiere event facilities – Terraview. This stone villa will host grand events for 200 to 300 guests and share the Stroudsmoor Mountain with its predecessor Ridgecrest offering woodland views to match the Ridgecrest valley views. A formal garden and conservatory will host indoor and outdoor ceremonies. The roof top terrace affords a private moment after the ceremony and the telescoping dance room invites guests to dance the night away under the stars.
The Pirone Family has invited guests to experience the tranquility of their country estate for decades. A visit to the Inn is complete with... charming accommodations, classic cuisine, swimming in and outdoors, unwinding in the fitness center and relaxing in the spa. Auradell offers the Hearthside Suite and Solarium for the cocktail hour and a sophisticated dining venue in the Gallery featuring the works of regional and European artists. Intimate celebrations of 30 to 60 guests are graciously
accommodated in this stately manor.
The Natatorium, our indoor pool facility, makes for a relaxing evening with friends. Swimming, lounging, and eating poolside offers a welcome change from the hustle and bustle of last minute wedding plans.
Stroudsmoor's rolling hills and grand lawns create the perfect atmosphere for picnic dining. Seasonal lawn games and activities are available upon request.
Woodsgate and Lawnhaven are available for groups of 75 to 150.

The gown is fitted, the invitations printed and the ceremony is planned on the majestic grounds of Stroudsmoor Country Inn. The Auradell ceremony is celebrated in the Hearthside Suite using Auradell's stone fireplace as the altar. Intimate outdoor ceremony options are offered upon request. Auradell hosts wedding celebrations of 30 to 60 guests.
Woodsgate at Stroudsmoor . . . $1200.00 ceremony fee
The most historic of Stroudsmoor's 18 buildings, Woodsgate features two enchanting ceremony sites. The first is a European Garden adjacent to the building. A ten-foot fieldstone wall with coach lights and wrought iron gates surround the Garden creating an atmosphere of privacy. Acting as an altar, a charming cedar gazebo completes the Garden.
The second of Woodsgate's ceremony sites is the Woodland Chapel. As its name suggests, it is located in the woods beyond the building. A canopy of thirty-foot oak and maple trees creates this outdoor chapel. Its cobblestone path winds past a charming waterfall, leading to guest seating and the altar trellis. Even the deer have been known to attend a ceremony in the Woodland Chapel. Both sites accommodate ceremonies for 75 to 150 guests.
Lawnhaven at Stroudsmoor . . . $1200.00 ceremony fee
Lawnhaven's exquisitely appointed Garden provides the perfect altar site for your ceremony. Cocktails will be served on the Grand Lawn followed by the reception under its huge stone columns supporting a 16' peaked roof, lined with cedar and pewter chandeliers. Lawnhaven creates an open-air venue without the worries of inclement weather.
The Lawnhaven Garden accommodates ceremonies for 75 to 150 guests.
Ridgecrest at Stroudsmoor . . . $1700.00 ceremony fee
Crestview Chapel sits atop the ridge of our mountain overlooking the entire Cherry Valley. Here untouched mountains, clear blue skies and a magnificent wrought iron gazebo create the altar for your wedding ceremony.
Crestview Chapel graciously accommodates 175 to 250 guests.
Terraview at Stroudsmoor . . . $1900.00 ceremony fee
Chapel Terra will host ceremonies at Terraview wedding, commitment, vow renewal and all manners of ritual will be executed in auspicious elegance. The backdrop for the chapel altar is a towering stone wall flanked by water features. Formal gardens surround guest seating and a forest of trees towers overhead.
The Conservatory at Terraview provides the option of an indoor ceremony for winter celebrations or inclement weather. Vows are exchanged in front of a stone hearth edged by windows looking out onto the forest and the mountaintops.
Grand celebrations of 200 to 300 are performed at Chapel Terra
Pre-Wedding Photography Package . . . $500 pre-photo fee
Plan to arrive to the ceremony site with your chosen photographer 60 minutes prior to the ceremony photography with the bridal party and immediate family. Access to the event facility will be limited to the bridal lounge.
Pre-wedding photography reservations must be made in advance.
Stroudsmoor Ceremony Site Fees include the assistance of an Event Planner to organize and orchestrate the ceremony, to arrange for all rental equipment, to oversee the rehearsal and assist during the ceremony. This fee also adds an additional hour to the length of your event. It includes the preparation of the site, an indoor alternative in case of inclement weather, the appropriate number of white ceremony chairs not to exceed the maximum number of guests established for the event facility, altar accoutrements and the use of a bridal lounge for 60-minutes prior to the ceremony for primping and Champagne sipping. Suggestions and arrangements can be made for tenting and other rental equipment, officiate and a variety of musicians. Rental equipment and professional services require additional fees based on equipment and services selected. Prices quoted do not include tax or gratuity.
Each of the Stroudsmoor facilities has their own ceremony site as listed above. In some instances, arrangements can be made to hold the ceremony in one facility while the reception is hosted in another. Substantial additional fees will apply to events requiring multiple facilities.
