We booked this AI for our honeymoon and we were impressed from arrival to departure with everything from the staff, service, beach and theamazing food and drinks. Be sure to try the Mayan Coffee (Benjamin was awesome at making this for us) We loved it so much that we didn't even want to leave for our tours... lol. That being said, make sure you go to see Tulum but you can skip the ziplining and rappeling (we did this in Whistler and really couldn't compare). We weren't able to go to all the restaurants because we revisited a few that we loved early in the trip. Any food you want/dream of is available and also delivered to your room. Beds are comfortable, entertainment is great - they really take care of you. I am the type of person that loves data... yes, I created a spreadsheet of all the Adult only AI resorts in the Mayan that were 4* and higher. I weighted each feature by what we valued most on a scale of 1-10 (I e. number of pools, spa, number of rooms, available activities, variety of foods). Excellence tied for 1st place with one other resort but was slightly more affordable and more food choices. Just book it... I did all the work, just ask my husband... lol
