The Royal Pavilion is an extra-ordinary semi-enclosed venue surrounded by the lush greenery of our international croquet lawn. You can also enjoy the tranquility of the cool breeze from the Caribbean Sea, which forms a spectacular backdrop. Our Sunset Beach Gazebo, which is situated on the edge of the azure waters of the Caribbean, Sea lays our magnificent gazebo. Ideal for couples only or with a few attendants the gazebo is the perfect setting and is renowned for spectacular sunsets. Five exclusive wedding packages—with names like “Always and Forever” and “One Love”—include a professional planner prepared to grant the unique wishes of every bride and groom.
Ensuring that life’s journey together begins harmoniously, pre-nuptial jitters turn to bliss at Fern Tree, The Spa at Half Moon, where healing treatments fuse native Jamaican, Indian, and European techniques and ingredients. Newlyweds may want to wait until after the big bash to unwind in the private Fern Tree Spa Lounge with a sensuous soak in our hand carved stone tub while being served champagne and truffles and a couple’s massage.
Our Georgian-style buildings house elegantly appointment rooms and suites, many of which overlook the Caribbean Sea. However, for the ultimate indulgence our Spa Suites which were designed to reflect the natural beauty and tranquility of the Caribbean, the new spa suites at Half Moon are a contemporary marriage of Jamaica’s diverse past with state-of-the-art custom amenities. These one bedroom sanctuaries feature Half Moon Memories Bed and a five piece state-of-the-art en suite bathroom which includes a sensuous chroma-therapy bubble massage tub. Dedicated spa treatment areas convert to a private spa studio or fitness studio, all offering views of the Caribbean Sea. Treatment tables are easily accessible for a private spa experience and meditation/yoga mats are provided for morning sun salutations.
Snorkeling and kayaking are just the beginning of the fun in store at Half Moon. Horseback riding through the valley or along a two-mile stretch of beach promises both pleasure and romance. The ocean’s friendliest creatures are available to guest for fun and frolic at the resort’s exclusive Dolphin Lagoon. Adventurous couples can also enjoy a variety of island excursions, including a climb up the majestic Dunn’s River Falls.
To replenish energy and please the palate, guests may enjoy traditional afternoon tea at Seagrape Terrace, a taste of Italy at Il Giardino, or authentic Jamaican cuisine at The Sugar Mill. They can also escape to Lester’s Bar at midnight for a nightcap and see one of the resort’s finest pianists in action.
