SPRINGFIELD MARRIOTT GENERAL WEDDING INFORMATION:

Outdoor/Indoor Ceremony Site:
Available at an additional cost of $750.00

Children and Vendor Meal Prices:
12–4 years old-$16.95 per child, 3 years old and under–complimentary,
Vendors-$25.00 per person

Guarantees:
We require a guaranteed number of guests to be provided seven business days prior to your event(s), or the expected number will be used as your guarantee. We will set and will be prepared to service for 5% over the guarantee. Should your actual numbers exceed the guarantee, you will be charged accordingly.

Minimum Revenue:
Our revenue minimums are exclusive of tax. Your sales manager will advise you of your minimum requirements based on your chosen function date and time. Minimum revenue to be outlined in your Sales Agreement

Entrée Selections:
The Springfield Marriott dinner packages include the selection of up to three (3) types of entrees. To assist our staff in prompt service, we ask that you provide a seating assignment with the number of each of the selected entrees to be served at each table as well as a breakdown by table number. Vegetarian and Kosher options are always available with advance notice.

Additional Service Fees:
Additional staff above the Marriott standard are available at a fee of $125.00 to $175.00 each, depending on the services provided.

Bartenders, Attendants and Carver Fees:
Attendants and Carver Fees are not included in your Package. We suggest one (1) per 100 guests. Bartenders, Carvers and Attendants’ Fees are at $75.00 each

Liquor Regulations:
Hotel’s Liquor License requires that only Hotel supplies alcoholic beverages and that only Hotel employees dispense alcoholic beverages. Alcohol will be denied to those guests who appear to be intoxicated or who are under 21 years of age. Hotel will refuse service to guests without legal identification. Service is limited to (2) drinks per person per trip to the bar. Open bar service will be limited to a maximum of five (5) consecutive hours. Liquor is sold until midnight only. Non-Alcoholic beverages can be provided for functions that run past this time.

Payment:
Terms for payment will be established in your Sales Agreement. We require a non-refundable deposit of $1000.00 upon booking your event. The deposit will be credited toward your final bill. We also require a non-refundable partial payment of twenty percent (20%) of the estimated value of your event six (6) months prior to your event date. The payment will also be credited towards your final balance. We require final payment to be provided seven business days prior to your event(s).

Safety Regulations and Liability:
Arrangements for floral centerpieces and special themed events can be made through your event expert. All decorations, staging, exhibits, etc. must meet with the approval of the Fire Marshall’s office and safety codes of the Marriott Hotel The hotel will not permit the affixing of anything to the walls, floors or ceilings of the function rooms with nails, tacks, staples or tape without proper approval. Contacts agree to be responsible for any damage to the function room(s) or any other part of the Hotel by the client, his/her guests, invitees, employees, independent contractors or other agents under the client’s control. The hotel will not assume or accept any responsibility for damage to or loss of any merchandise or articles left in the Hotel prior to, during or following an event.

Coat Check Service:
Available for a minimal attendant fee of $125.00 (up to 6 hours per event)

Set-Up of Wedding Amenities:
In addition to the Event Manager assisting the couple with their event planning, they will set up the following amenities at no additional cost. (Items to be provided by the Bride & Groom
