Point Grace
Point Grace derives its name from its singular location on the "Point" of "Grace Bay". Grace Bay derived its name from a lady, Grace Hutchings, who visited here on her honeymoon in 1892. Inspired by classic, turn-of-the-century British Colonial architecture, the beachfront setting looks out upon a shimmering vista of turquoise sea and alabaster beach. Here, in a setting seemingly untouched by time, each suite has been designed to include every luxury, leaving you free to encounter your own personal state of grace. Close to home yet worlds away - only 90 minutes from Miami... Virtually undiscovered, Providenciales is one of the 49 islands that comprise the British Crown Colony of Turks and Caicos. This caring island community of about 19,000 friendly internationals is located halfway between Florida and Puerto Rico, and only a ninety-minute, non-stop jet flight from Miami. Point Grace offers a selection of beachfront one, two, three and four bedroom suites and penthouses, plus one bedroom pool-front/ garden view cottage suites, magnificently furnished and decorated; each suite captures the flavor of West Indies yester-years. A unique collection of African tribal crafts and artwork, in the tradition of the great expressionist masters, is thoughtfully utilized to lend an exotic and refined insight into the culture and travel experience of the turn of the century West Indian traveler.
Over 100 years ago, Grace Bay was named after a new bride who embodied the spirit of her name. Grace Hutchings sailed to Providenciales (formerly known as Blue Hills) from Grand Turk in 1892 with her new husband to honeymoon in the hills of the Bight, overlooking the breath-taking turquoise sea. Grace was a gracious, elegant young woman who charmed the local residents. Soon after she and her new husband departed, the locals named the twelve-mile beach along the north shore in her honor. We feel that she is an ideal symbol to embody the essence of Point Grace. Today, that joyous spirit- unsullied, innocent, yet ablaze with natural splendor, resonates throughout the golden enclave of Point Grace. Here is the perfect place for relaxation, regeneration and reflection -you might even hear the whispered echo of Grace's laughter still lingering in the soothing tropical breeze.
At the Point Grace Thalasso Spa, our highly qualified Therapists offer a variety of Thalasso therapy treatments, as well as our unique Point Grace Signature Treatments, formulated with plants and herbs from our gardens, and salt harvested from the ocean in front of Point Grace.
The Point Grace Thalasso Spa is an architectural gem, with its gingerbread and fretwork trim treatment cabins located directly on the beach, providing the ultimate in relaxation - guests listen to the ocean and enjoy the gentle sea breezes while being pampered by one of our talented therapists. Extra care has been taken to provide a very natural environment. Guests may complete the spa experience with a healthy delight from our Spa menu.
