Our Wedding Planner at Presidente InterContinental Cozumel Resort & SPA did an amazing job planning our wedding for us. She was not our original planner and stepped in without missing a beat. My husband and I loved their wedding website and felt pretty good about how things would look in the end without ever having been to the resort in person. We did not know how fantastic things would be until we actually arrived. There was not a single thing we could possibly want for. She was so relaxed and so attentive to every detail, there was nothing to do but snorkel and lounge by the pool until the wedding day arrived. It was pretty windy the day of the wedding and Alicia was ready with an alternate solution just in case. Luckily, we were still able to have our dinner by the water.
The photographer she helped us decide on was fantastic. Everything went so smoothly, my husband and I had such an amazing wedding that went off without a single glitch! She even stayed into the night to make sure dinner and dessert was perfect as well. Because we were planning the wedding from the states, we even decided to have the rehearsal dinner at the InterContinental as well. Even though our original plan was to go into town for the dinner, we changed our mind due to how accommodating and wonderful she was. We really didn't even fuss about table setups or anything. She took care of it all. All we did was show up!
It was very important to Chad and I that our families had a great time and enjoyed the wedding as much as we did. Our Wedding Planner made the wedding a very relaxed and elegant event. The hotel staff could not have been more helpful or friendly if they tried. All of their recommendations were right on and everyone had a blast. Our room was incredible and we took advantage having breakfast on our gorgeous terrace. Thanks to the staff at the Intercontinental for making our wedding week memorable in Cozumel, Mexico!
