Palmetto Bluff offers many special locations to host a wedding. The simple design of the waterside Chapel on the banks of the May River highlights the spectacular natural beauty of this location. It offers stunning river views for up to 90 guests. Upon entry, the chapel gives way to an expansive view of water and trees through a stately arched window that fills the back wall, creating a breathtaking environment for your ceremony.
Just a few steps away is the quaint Village Square, where the famous Wilson ruins create a magical backdrop for an outdoor lawn ceremony surrounded by massive branches of ancient oak trees with Spanish moss. For the nautical couples, the 1913 historical yacht Grace, can serve as a romantic setting for the ceremony or reception as it sails down the May River for intimate gatherings no more than 20 people.
Palmetto Bluff also has special venues for receptions. A dramatic wine cellar which can hold up to 50 people can host a spectacular wine pairing event, with dramatic lighting and fireplaces. An elegant ballroom with wrap around verandas over looking the river creates a magnificent statement, and can accommodate 175 guests.
