The wedding of your dreams will come true at the Fairmont Hotel San Francisco. Spectacular venues, award-winning cuisine and warm and intuitive service make it the perfect setting for the perfect wedding day.
This legendary hotel is a tribute to timeless elegance and grace. Built in 1907, the hotel combines a classic ambience with modern amenities. Highlighted by a magnificent new Lobby and dramatic private spaces, the Fairmont Hotel embodies the essence of San Francisco. Our dedicated and experienced wedding and event professionals provide warm and intuitive service throughout the planning experience. Your personal wedding and event specialist will expertly coordinate every aspect of your very special occasion. No detail is too small or outside the realm of their expertise, allowing you the ability to enjoy your event with confidence and comfort. In the famed Venetian Room, Tony Bennett first sang, I Left my Heart in San Francisco. And in 1945, delegates from 40 countries around the World met in the historic Garden Room to draft the Charter for the United Nations. The Fairmont Hotel has been host to the most remarkable events in San Francisco history. Your wedding or social occasion may soon be among them.
The Lobby of the Fairmont Hotel welcomes your arriving guests in spectacular fashion. Also, the Grand Staircase located in the Lobby is a wonderful spot for wedding day photos. Set atop Nob Hill, the Fairmont Hotel offers unparalleled views of the City and the Bay. There are unobstructed views of just about every San Francisco landmark, from the Golden Gate Bridge to Alcatraz to Coit Tower. In addition to incredible views, the guests of the Fairmont Hotel enjoy spacious rooms with marble baths. Services include twice-daily maid service with turndown; complimentary morning newspaper and complimentary shoeshine. Each room also has High-Speed Internet Access available.
The Fairmont San Francisco is a testament to luxury with several spectacular function rooms that have been luxuriously refurbished. One of the most grand and glamorous spaces is the Venetian Room. Light and airy, with an elaborately ornamented 22-foot ceiling, this Ballroom is stunning. The wall coverings are a subdued, gold damask pattern, and the carpet has accents of royal and light blue, periwinkle, and buttercup yellow. Another one-of-a-kind Ballroom is the dazzling Gold Room, which glitters with French Provincial detailing. Ornate, gold-leaf bas relief’s decorate the walls, while indoor balconies reach up to the coffered ceiling. Crystal chandeliers, wall sconces and hand-painted murals add authentic turn-of-the-century accents. The Pavilion Room features picture windows that overlook the roof garden, a sublime spot for taking your vows.
Rising up above the ordinary is the magnificent Crown Room. Aptly named for its spectacular location on the top floor of the Tower, the Crown Room was designed with weddings in mind. It’s an elegantly soothing environment in soft celadon, sage, and pale violet with gold highlights. The room’s most remarkable feature, however, is the view. Tall, wraparound windows reveal a sweeping 270-degree panorama of the Golden Gate and Bay Bridges, Coit Tower, Alcatraz, Downtown and the Twin Peaks. The setting here is impressive enough, but if you really want to have the ultimate reception, opt for the Presidential Service: each table has its own waiter, and each guest is treated like Royalty. Another extraordinary space for exclusive weddings and events is the world-famous Penthouse Suite. Epitomizing the glamour and sophistication of a celebrated era, the Penthouse Suite offers a fabulous setting for events more intimate in nature.
Spanning the entire eighth floor of the Main Building, this amazing suite features three large bedrooms, a living room with grand piano, a formal dining room that seats 50 people, a two story circular library crowned by a rotunda where the constellations are rendered in gold leaf against a sapphire sky, a billiard room covered in Persian tile from floor to ceiling, and a terrace with sweeping views of San Francisco and the bay.
