The Cooper Lodge will help you celebrate your new beginning by the poolside. The Cooper Lodge is a family home that continues to evolve and swing open its massive front door to immediately captivate all who visit. The poolside bridal reception can be as elaborate or as simple as the Bride and Groom wish.
The rustic yet elegant surprise of the Loft is also a wonderful site for a rehearsal dinner, small (130 guests) wedding ceremony or a party for any celebration! Three ballrooms make up the second floor of the Main Stables and are separated with French doors.
The Tavern Room is complete with an imported Italian Horse Chandelier, bar and sitting area.
The Three Timbers Club Room is flanked by massive timbers and adorned with detailed twig work.
The Great Hall is a beautiful ballroom with crystal chandeliers that hang from a periwinkle vaulted ceiling and decked by grapevine garlands wrapped with tiffany lights.
The Bride enters the field from the Lodge alone as bagpipes play, her veil flowing behind her as she greets her daddy in the middle of a spring field of daffodils. The horses in nearby pastures begin to trot about in response to the bagpipes and in celebration of the Bride’s entrance. She is escorted down an aisle of green grass by her proud father to meet her expectant groom. This is an unbelievably romantic afternoon that all her guests will not soon forget!
The open field is a wonderful choice as a site for a larger group. Large Adirondack twig panels draped with flowers of the season, create a backdrop for the scene. Zion’s European stables can be seen just beyond the wedding altar, as horses graze in surrounding pastures.
Supported by massive timbers that were once part of the estate’s own forest, Zion’s chapel boasts of an open air pavilion that may be perfect for large crowds of family and friends.
Exchange vows on a carpet of white before a curtain of lace and enormous urns of fresh flowers. As your visitors approach, the chapel is adorned on all sides by thirty white billowing flags announcing the Bride’s arrival.
Together, Bride and Groom may choose from a variety of settings for the reception. While the earth is adorning herself with a profusion of spring flowers and new greenery, let nature inspire a storybook wedding for two. Imagine heaven’s natural light sifting through pines and hardwoods, their boughs reaching out to you in the clear of a thicket. Beyond Hammond Pond, a short winding trail will take you to an enclave- surrounded on all sides by mountain, wild ferns and a bubbling creek.
Zion designers will spare nothing in creating a scene straight from Camelot. On a carpet of green grass, exchange vows under a drape of white tulle twined with festive natural garlands of vines, fresh flowers and every shade of green.
