For a romantic wedding, visit the historic Elkridge Furnace Inn, Circa 1810. Its restored colonial architecture, magnificent bridal suite, lush outdoor gardens and climate-controlled tent, make the perfect setting for any wedding, in any season.
Imagine… charming gardens filled with fragrant flowers, the dancing light-filled waters of a fountain, guests walking beneath old linden trees to the red brick mansion. Inside, beautifully appointed rooms with magnificent chandeliers and 12 foot ceilings provide an elegant setting for your guests to enjoy our gourmet French cuisine, or any cuisine you desire, as well as fine wines. If you prefer, a climate-controlled tent provides seating for 200. Imagine being pampered with a custom-created menu designed just for you. Imagine… your dream wedding at The Elkridge Furnace Inn. Sip champagne as your guests begin to arrive and you and your party prepare for your wedding in our three lovely changing rooms atop the Inn. As you look through the Lunar window you’ll see your guests strolling along flower-filled paths of time-faded brick, discovering delightful spots at every turn of the path. Ceremonies may be held from April through October in our secluded garden setting overlooking the Patapsco river. As you wander the garden paths you’ll find a wealth of lovely backdrops for capturing photographic memories of your perfect day. The mansion, home to the Ellicott family, is available for your party to enjoy. Hors d’oeuvres and beverages are served in the graceful rooms, and guests may ascend the tiger-maple staircase to enjoy the upper porch and rooms. In the fall and winter, fireplaces provide a cozy warmth and ambiance as the Inn becomes luminous with candlelight and flowers. The stroll from the ceremony site to your reception takes you past little nooks like this one, replete with natural surroundings ? perfect for photographs of you and your bridal party. Our permanent tent structure, shown here at dusk with the sides closed, provides ample room for elegant dining and a turn on the dance floor. The sides can be quickly pulled back to allow a stroll through the lush gardens or a bit of quiet conversation on the outdoor benches. You and your guests will enjoy the charm of the elegantly restored rooms of the manor home. The rooms on the first floor, as shown here with the fireplace lit, provide a welcoming spot for delicious hors d?oeuvres for you and your guests.
The graceful willows and dogwood trees will gaze down upon you and your guests as you take your vows overlooking the Patapsco river. Afterwards, pose for photographs with your guests as you enjoy a champagne toast among the flowers.

A beautiful red brick walkway will lead you and your guests to your ceremony, should you choose to have your ceremony at the Inn.
